I have an article in the Diocesan quarterly newsletter that was just published under the title of Epiphanytide (click here). If interested, there is also a place at the web location to subscribe so that these Diocesan communications can be mailed or forwarded to you.

See you Sunday!

Outreach for Winter
YES, there is a place for gently-used winter wear! Coats, snow pants, gloves, mittens, scarves and hats can be placed in the Big White Box in the hallway for donation to the Giving Fence. Remember, NEW items for the Mitten Trees, GENTLY USED for the Big White Box. Thank you! The Outreach Committee

ANOTHER Outreach Opportunity for St. Matthew’s
The cold is now upon us and it is especially hard for those people living in the “tent city” on the west side of our communities. Please donate clean blankets (used or new) to help keep them warm. Rose Adams is delivering these much needed blankets beginning this Sunday, 12/31. Blankets will be gathered in the Parish Hall, on one of the half-round tables (just look for others) and thank you for sharing these vital gifts.

2024 Vestry Openings
Those confirmed members of St. Matthew’s who are interested in serving on the Vestry (our administrative council), please see the bulletin board for the duties and responsibilities. We then ask you to talk with either Rex Schaeffer or Fr. Tom.

Annual Meeting Reminder
St. Matthew’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 28th. We will have only one service at 10:00 AM on that Sunday. We will begin the meeting shortly afterward. In order to prepare for the Annual Meeting Book, we need all committee reports turned into the office or to one of the Wardens by Sunday January 21. Please ensure any report longer than a page is sent by e-mail in Word (or Publisher) formatting to office@stmattsblm.org. Thanks.
